Since the start of the 2019 season he is 21-22...but who would have more success at TCU? They got used to the success he built there. He's a victim of his own success, by raising expectations.

It's really not.

SMU, maybe, but only recently (and, in large part, due to Patterson). They have historically been just an overpriced place to park big-money Dad's dumb little party girl. SMU has a pretty big history in Texas business and politics.

As for Rice, they are the semi-respected nerds in the state. Lots of regard for their brains, but not much of a presence in power circles.

I suspect Tulane is more like SMU, but I am not that familiar with their reputation.

TCU is for rich kids who could not get into UT, A&M or hell even SMU.

You have to be high to pay 50k/year to go to that school. I think I would rather go to UT-Dallas.

Yeah, it's pretty much a backup school for rich kids, so they don't have to go to Tech.

Which makes for absolutely incredible on-campus scenery BTW. A whole campus of B/C student rich girls is something to behold.

TCU is a very good college experience for a lot of kids. FTW is a great town and their campus is very nice.

People don't realize that TCU has more out of state students that in-state.

Every kid I've ever met that went to TCU was what I would consider a good kid.

And no, I didn't go there nor did any of my kids.

Tulane is more like Vandy. They have way more out of state students and do not stay in the state like SMU grads do. Vandy actually has more students from NY than any other state and almost as many students from California than they do Louisiana. None of those kids are staying in state after graduation. SMU still has way more students from TX than any other state, and a lot of big money TX people send their kids to SMU. The same can't be said for Tulane.

TCU should go after Scott Satterfield or Eli Drinkwitz
