Were the teams Arkansas played in the top 25 ranked teams?
How about you use his 2024 stats as a measure? Looking back at their schedule, they played two playoff teams plus LSU, OM, etc.
In 2024, Taylen Green had a total of 3,756 yards of total offense (3,154 passing, 602 rushing), with 23 touchdowns (15 passing, 8 rushing) on the season. He also had a passing completion percentage of 60.4%.

Have not seen Green or Pribula. Generally for most QBs early stats can be misleading due to nature of early opponents. Mateer looked great against #13 team. Mateer was high in last year’s stats etc…..
Arch got lots of hype due to his family history. Others get hype due to recruiting rankings and “potential”
The season will play out
Let’s circle back in November…..

Green has a higher ceiling. Mateer is easily the better QB right now though.

Green is top 3 athlete in the SEC. Not sure he is a good QB yet. Struggles with underneath accuracy and misses coverage reads a lot.

Also Green hurt his knee in the 10rc game and played gimpy for the last 7 games, that’s including the bowl so I’m sure it hampered his production.
