I just don't get it. On a lesser level, it's similar to the people that create fake accounts on message boards to troll whoever. I don't see the payoff...must be just that bored.

this dude is also the one that started the "UH to Big12" rumors
he was a UH student first, pulled the same shite on the UH board, made a sock account to give praise to himself, saying "this kid he has never met" was a genius, personally gives stock advice to billionaires and sold his own business when he was just in High School and just all around the smartest person to exist.
mods posted proof that it was a sock account and he was never heard from again.
Oh and the most ironic thing? This dude wanted to go to Texas first, Texas A&M was apparently his 3rd choice school.

no he was in HCC (Houston Community College, that's right community college) first before going to UH for undergrad

All things considered this is a pretty common practice, it's just fun to see someone get completely exposed for it.
Clemson fans have been doing that to us, Gamecocks, for decades.
I remember them catching a Clemson fan back in the mid 70s who would send racist postcards and letters to recruits posing as a Gamecock fan. Hell ... I remember his name, where he was from, the whole shebang. He's dead now but he was probably in his 40s at the time and he bragged about doing it ... it was common practice.
Clemson fans actually did it to both Gamecock and UGA prospects .... probably still do.
I noticed someone mentioned Clemson Dan in that reddit thread. He had so many Gamecock and Dawg aliases ... I forget how he got caught.
