I think you need to get off message boards for awhile and meet real people in the real world not internet trolls before you paint the entire fanbase with that brush.
I can't control what fools like Updyke or Teabagger are doing. I am pretty sure the Bama fanbase really doesn't care about either and I think any rational person would agree. Would it make you feel better if I called them out? I am pretty much on the record about what I think of Updyke.

Muster is an exponentially bigger deal than Aggie Bonfire. (several orders of magnitude)
On April 21st of each year, Aggies get together to celebrate the past year and to conduct a roll call for the absent.
In a similar manner to a military funeral, each location has a list of those Aggies who died in the previous year. When the name is called off, someone answers "here" on his or her behalf.
On the main campus, they receive a 21-volley salute and the A&M taps rendition (Silver Taps is a tri-tone version of taps played once to the south, once to the east, and once to the north. Never west because those being honored will never see another sunrise)
In addition, the Campus Muster serves as the 50-year reunion of that particular class. (Example: Yesterday's Muster was the 50-year reunion of the class of 1966).
The 2005 Muster was especially meaningful to me because I had to answer here for one of my classmates who was killed in the 2004 Blackhawk crash near Ft. Hood.
During the 2000 Muster (the semester after the Bonfire accident) Reed was overflowing.
I attended the 2006 and 2011 Musters in Baghdad.

Even though a question this stupid doesn't merit a response: In order to be on the roll call for the absent, you have to die between April 21 of the previous year and April 20 of the current year.
