This fricker honestly didn't think the Big 10 wouldn't cut their throats, because of a gentleman's agreement? That's the business acumen of a guy leading a multi-million dollar conference? Even the Apple deal that drove everyone out would have paid a quarter billion annually.

It's looking more and more like "the alliance" was big tens response to Texas and ou. I think they saw a tv deal that would plant them firmly behind the sec and decided that pulling all the major draws from the other p5s was the only way to come close to even. They'll expand south next. Some combo of uva unc clem fsu.
