Oh cool...the old 3/15 record argument. How about 2-0? GTs record in Sanford the last 2 times they've played there.
Or 0-1? Kirbys record against GT.
Or 0-2? Kirbys record against GT and Vandy...at home.
I could go on with lame arse meaningless stats.

It must suck to be a GT fan

And...Ole miss are the cheaters...not Bama...
Hey, we didn't just come out of nowhere. We have a tradition. The meteoric rise in recruiting at Ole Miss was obvious to anyone paying attention.
If LSU all of the sudden starts having similar results, it will be obvious there too.

IMO outside of Bama it is all about the QB. If you have a difference maker at the QB position you can hide a lot of deficiencies elsewhere. A team with a bunch of 3 stars and 4 stars can win a lot of games with a future NFL QB. IMO for small market teams like State, Ky, USC, Arkansas, OM, and Vandy the road map to a bunch of wins starts at the QB position.

He did leave him a bunch of 5'9 receivers and terrible offensive lineman! Richt could hide the poor overall recruiting every year with one big get, just like he's doing at Miami

WTF? When did Jawja get so many 5-star recruits and why aren't they winning anything?

To break down the 4 and 5 stars by class:
5-stars
Seniors - 3
Juniors - 2
Sophomores - 3
Freshmen - 3
4-stars
Seniors - 8
Juniors - 10
Sophomores - 9
Freshmen - 16

Thanks for that
And considering that this thread is about 2017 talent, its incredibly stupid to include freshman when judging 2016 and prior results.

Unfortunately UGA will be nipping at Bama's heels as far as recruiting goes. Auburn will be stuck playing 3 of the top 4 teams in the nation relative to recruiting rankings yearly.
1.Bama
2.OSU
3.UGA
4.Clemson
5.LSU
Will be the top tier talent powers for the next 5 years.
Next tier would include FSU, Michigan, AU, OU, A&M, SC, Penn St, Miami in some order.

Yeah on paper LSU looks tough every year.
