College football doesn't care about your lifetime. And that "success" still doesn't amount to much

There has been a lot of discussion as to whether Texas and Oklahoma will have a tougher road in the SEC vs the Big XII.

Has there really?

I may be confused. Are you saying that winning 1/2 games is good?

This thread really shows the ignorance of Tex and OU posters coming into the SEC. I really would have liked for them to play a full division schedule instead of this Mickey Mouse crap we have coming up now. Teams aren’t going to get that full gauntlet of the division lineup where you come into a road game against a lesser team and have to fight for your life because of injuries from prior weeks.

You could have both teams with quality starters but team 2 has way less depth on the roster.

It’s that depth that gets you through a season of tough games, not just playing starters for a one off game. If there is a weak position, it will get exploited.

That doesn't really matter when where's my defense Brian Kelly is your coach now does it?

The reality is Oklahoma is a much better overall football program than LSU and has a much much brighter immediate future in this conference than LSU does.

I think Big12 coaches have been superior to the SEC staffs the last 20 years or so.

That must be why they’ve won so many championships in that timeframe.

This is like when you said Joe Milton would win the Heisman.

I would have never guessed that former deep south slave states have more available athletic talent than Kansas.

Thanks for clearing that up.

beating Georgia

In case yall didn’t know they’re really proud of beating one of Kirby’s not so great teams in his third season as HC who didn’t want to be there and had a bunch of opt outs.
That Georgia ain’t the same as this Georgia pal.

Texas must have won like 20 straight national championships then.

Exactly. Are these frickers being deliberately obtuse or are they just idiots?

Yes you recently beat Bama, UGA, and played LSU close. But you forgot those losses against Kansas, Iowa State, et al.

Wait until Kansas and Iowa State are replaced with teams with far superior talent/depth.
