He’s terrible. Acts silly and goes on and on with his sometimes ridiculous predictions. He has lowered the quality of the football finale show. He has got the other guys doing stupid things before the commercial breaks that make them all look like idiots. Stop with all the nonsense. This was a professional show before this guy joined. Since he is the biggest change to this seasons show I’m guessing his silliness is rubbing off on the others

I don't pay much attention or watch much, but the time I've watched my only conclusion is he's fricking stupid and makes me want to change the channel.

Hate to break it to you, but I had forgotten Spikes played at AU. I seemed to remember his name but if I had to guess when I first saw him on the SEC network I would have said he played at LSU.

He's solid and is comfortable on camera, which is most important. Ben Watson on the other hand still isn't comfortable on camera and every time he makes a point, it just feels like he's waiting for someone to interrupt him and tell him that he's wrong.
Spikes grew up in the next county over from me and way way out in the country. It's incredible how far he's come as a communicator. At Auburn he was so country that he could barely string two sentences together in an interview. Good from him.

Dude, they are considerably worse than last year. They are atrocious and have played bad offenses. They gave up 61 points and 649 yards to Appalachian St. They gave up 45 points to Notre Dame who has a pathetic offense and who scored 55 points combined in their first 3 games. And Notre Dame is playing their backup QB now. Carolina's D is 123rd in the nation in total defense and 126th in scoring D. That's about as bad as a team can get, so unless they make significant improvements, Chizik may be done after this year. I like Chizik, but that D may be historically bad even for NC.

He hasn’t got that problem any more. He runs off at the mouth non stop. I don’t expect to be watching this SEC program very much in the future if he is gonna be a part of it

He tries to be too intense on the set and doesn’t realize it doesn’t work here like it did on the field.
