953 Aggies died in the same war.
Those are the only fatality numbers I have been able to find.

University of Texas was known as Texas university until the 60th legislature changed the name from TU to UT.

t.u.'s student body is closer to San Francisco than ANYTHING in Texas. BY FAR, the A&M student body is MUCH more representative of the people of Texas than t.u. and it's not even close.
