Doc, No one can dispute the outcome of the game. The fact that OSU was voted low to prevent them from being ranked #2 however is not. And OSU didn't get a vote? How the frick does that make sense. A coach with more on the line than the 2 best teams in the country gets a vote and LSU and OSU don't. yeah that is just fine dandy and full of unicorns and rainbows.

It's not about the 2 best, it's about the 2 most deserving.
"Best" is a vauge and often difficult to define term that relies heavily upon individual biases. "Most Deserving" on the other hand forces people to actually use the resumes tho show what each team did that should warrant their inclusion in the game.

Can you show me the empirical data which proves the 2 best. Oh and Sans the eyeball test and BCS since one is qualitative and the other has been lambasted to hell by just about everyone.
