21-0

We were clearly the more physical team, butw we kept putting shots in our feet.

And the same system that literally forced the Coaches to replace USC with LSU at #1 in 03.

It's alright. If it weren't for that we might not have TD, and Saban wouldn't have had his stepping stone to UA. Amiright?

21-0 is pretty straightforward and clear though.

Im sorry, I thought we were talking about before the game? Have you not read the other 12 pages of this thread?

If only Pete Carroll had talked about being "undefeated in regulation" in 03.

No doubt. I'll never forget the high of javi's punt return followed by the low of JPW's fumble. Wow. That's football. Has made all of our recent success in the series all the sweeter. And also made me realize how quickly it could change; I didn't think bama had a chance that night. But that's football.

They beat #5 Arkansas.
Meanwhile, OK St's best win was over #15 Kansas St.

Arkansas finished 6th and Kansas State finished 8th. Big whoop. OSU beat more ranked teams than Bama.

I'm not even arguing that Bama wasn't of the top 2 teams in the country, eyeball test wise. But you're lying to yourself if you say their biggest accomplishment during their 2011 regular season wasn't losing to LSU in OT by only 3 points.

Why would you take away best win and worst loss? Besides that both favor bama? Do you not see how ridiculous that is

Actually it does not favor Alabama. It favors no team. Think of it like removing the highest and lowest score in gymnastics. It is a way to negate outlying factors in the final decision process.
LSu would not have played the #2 team in the country and the #3.
UA not having to play the #1 team in the country twice.
OSU not having to play the golden showers and OU( or was it TT that was better?) bow once that is done look at the conferences and the strength of each conference. Then formulate, extrapolate, fornicate...whatever look at it from that POV.

I never stated that. I'm only suggesting you're lying in stating that game was no different than previous championship games. Of course you should claim it. The system that put Bama in the rematch against LSU is the same system that put a two loss LSU team in theirs.

Like I said, their problem isn't with the system. The system worked the way it was intended to. The top two teams played in the championship game. Their problem is that the other team happened to be the one they hate above all others, and it delivered them an arse kicking.

Then how come you couldnt beat us in YOUR OWN HOME STADIUM? If y'all were so much better than us, than it should have been 21-0 in the first game.

No, not really. I'm not real concerned with stuff that happened before a game almost two years ago and can't believe some of you are still hung up on it. 21-0 is all that matters, insert deal with it gif here. I guess if OSU deserved to be there more than Alabama though, I shutter to think how badly they would've destroyed LSU.

You're lying to yourself. It was going 11-1 with a win over (at the time) top 5 Arkansas. And not losing to anyone as bad as Iowa state. The voters in two polls agreed.

The two top teams? What are you basing this off of? How do you know who they are at that point? You don't actually. You go with whoever has the most impressive resume...... OSU

Well if you personally think OSU had the better resume, then apparently that's not what you go with.

And yet OSU's own coach disagreed.

again, wrong. The game is number 1 vs number 2 in the bcs standings. Not who the ranter think had the best resume.

Oh I know, I just love seeing these logical gymnastics used to justify why that game shouldn't have happened. It's entraining, yet offers a large data pool on human projection and rationalization.
