We were never winning this series. You knew it, I knew it, everyone here knew it

I fully expect Trent to pitch a gem tomorrow and win like 9-0 to get my hopes back up. Then we lose Monday 9-10 after leading 9-0 headed into the 9th because WAOM

With UC Irvine winning 1-0 tonight they're the 3rd team to punch their ticket to Omaha. Texas, Louisville, & UC Irvine are all Omaha bound & on Vandy's side of the bracket.
Not so fun fact: IF both Ole Miss & Vandy lose tomorrow in the Supers it will be the first time an SEC team hasn't been in Omaha since 1992.

So since the addition of Arkansas and South Carolina the SEC hasn't missed out on being in Omaha?
What the heck was this conference doing before we came aboard?

Has a starter been named for tonight? Trent?

I hope ellis doesn't give Trent whatever disease he had last night. Giving up 6 runs on 1 hit in the first 3 inning is what killed us. Just fricking awful.

Not all of that was on Ellis.
He had the most narrow zone of any pitcher last night.

That's a bad excuse. You pitch to the zone you are given. Both pitchers had the same zone.

Ellis wasn't getting the same zone their pitchers were. Massie got squeezed too. Plus, the "balk" call. The umpires got progressively worse as the game went on. Our bats going cold and them getting strike three called on pitches that were way outside didn't help either.

Georgia and LSU won it in 90 and 91, then y'all were in the conference for the 92 season. It looks like you were the problem.
