A&M still had Larkins (Sat starter), but more importantly a fully rested Vinson & Ecker. Both have been nails. Couldn't ask for anything better for A&M.

How are the rest of TCU's starters/relievers? I feel like we have a massive advantage on day 3 but honestly I have no proof to back that up

I thought I heard announcers say that TCU threw their ace yesterday?

Game 1:
Janczak
7-3
2.40 ERA
5 starts
75.0 IP

Game 2:
Traver
1-2
3.00 ERA
6 starts
24.0 IP

Game 3 Available:
Howard
8-2
3.56 ERA
15 starts
86.0 IP

Edit: Howard was named the starter.

Horton
8-0
2.58 ERA
12 starts
59.1

I would guess one of these 2 get the start. They still have both closers (Felton-1.88 & Trieglaff 2.41) available too with Triglaff only pitching a little on Friday.

We need to get through the game only using Larkins, VInson, & Ecker. Anyone else and we're likely in some trouble.

Larkins
3-0
2.82 ERA
5 starts
38.1 IP
.213 O Avg

Vinson
4-2
2.40 ERA
1 start
48.2 IP
.181 O Avg

Ecker
4-2
0.41 ERA
0 starts
44.0 IP
.162 O Avg

After posting that, it looks like we should have the fresher arms. Only Hill & Simonds have been the horses all year. Everyone has much fewer IPs.

I agree. If Vinson and Ecker alone aren't enough, we probably lose anyway

I know he's been a little wild down the stretch, but I feel like having Hendrix in the mix would be great for A&M. Looked sharp Friday night.

A little wild is an understatement. He was given opportunity after opportunity. At this point, its not worth it to me. He cannot be trusted. 20 walks in 24 IP with a 6.66 ERA.

Obviously the talent is there. He can hit the high 90s regularly and his slider is a plus pitch as well. He still got drafted high too. Just a mental thing at this point. I think a change of scenery (to the minors) will do him a world of good. I think a little too much was put on his shoulders. We made a damn closer video for him.

BC & Miami almost fight. Canes pimped a grand slam just a little too much.

When was the last time two grand slams were hit so close in time together since introduction of the BBCOR bats?
