Had no clue who this was off the top of my head so I googled. The first link was to Hogville
He got famous for his awful job during the Arkansas/SCar CWS semifinal. Easily one of the worst umpiring jobs I've ever witnessed.

Actually liked what I saw from Arkansas tonight. I’m moving them up to 9th in the SEC.

1. Kentucky
2. Georgia
3. LSU
4. Tennessee
5. South Carolina
6. Ole Miss
7. Auburn
8. Alabama
9. Arkansas
10. Texas A&M
11. Missouri
12. Vanderbilt
13. Florida
14. Mississippi State

Oh, he was famous before that. The 2010 Super vs Arizona State might have been even worse.

So. Pitching was the big question mark this year. Are we missing a couple of guys on this trip?

Can I start being cautiously optimistic?

Yeah, I recall one of the announcers saying... "I don't want to say this guy is doing this on purpose....but..."

They were literally calling him out as cheating us on the air.

It was way worse. Worse calls, worse situations.

The calls against USC affected the game. His calls against ASU decided the game. At the end of the day USC still beat us. I didn't feel the same after ASU.
