This sucks, really felt good about this game but I guess taking one from Vandy is good

Vandy is a really good team. Nothing to be ashamed of. Vols are good this year, and losing one series is no big deal. It's baseball, not football, so you just have to shrug it off.

You can always tell when football fans are checking out the baseball team because someone told them they were highly ranked and hot. The attitude for the two sports require a vastly different disposition.
Arkansas will be the only team left in the conference without a series loss unless Tennessee lays it on late like yesterday.
A&M just homered to go up 1–0 in the first inning in our game.

What an absolutely wasted opportunity by Smith. For a grad transfer, he looked fricking clueless.

I’ve watched baseball all my life, I understand it’s not a big deal to lose a series (our first one) especially to the number two team. But after winning last night against Leiter it’s disappointing to lose this one especially in blow out fashion. We get A&M next weekend but the only really good team we’ve beaten is Florida. With our stadium as shitty as it is we need big wins to try and get a host especially with the pre determined sites bullshite.

Sorry, that comment wasn't pointed at you. I was just adding onto what bigD said about football not being like baseball in general, and I do get a kick out of people who lose their shite over one game. I didn't mean to suggest you were doing it.

McDaniel’s just is consistently inconsistent. I wish he would figure out that he isn’t a dominate blow it by a batter pitcher. He needs to pitch to contact and get ground/pop outs!
