I doubt it actually originated from the return address written, since I believe that's the address to a country club in Houston.

Other posters in this thread have run the FICS barcode and it came back to her very own address. So...assuming that is true, why would she send her own envelope......to her husband who lives in the same house?

Run a search for it yourself. Something about Almeda something or another. All zip code numbers pointed to her address.......apparently.

I can't believe you people think this is fake. Show me one time a hateful message or letter, or credit card receipt displayed on social media turned out to be fake...

Correct. I work for a marketing and advertising company and we do everything from Every Door Direct, First Class Mailings, to Bulk permits. Its absolutely a barcode created by machines scanning the hand written delivery address.

Don't blame you. See Nyguening's post on page 17 is one. I'm still looking for the other poster who had a far more indepth post.

Or how about the FB post last month that received thousands of shares from a woman claiming the police threw her boyfriend off of a bridge. Then the body cam footage showed him jumping off of the bridge to avoid capture. Thousands of people calling for the police officers to be fired bc someone said something happened on Facebook.

I know you born in 2000 nerds have never mailed a letter but the address in the top left is the from address. Also known as the return address. That's who mailed it.

Damn racist country clubs sending letters. Also this means those letters I got growing up really did come from Santa.

Back in the day they had the money to have printed return address labels or rubber stamps. Times must be hard now....

First of all, thanks idlewatcher

I'm starting to have my doubts now. But it's equally disgusting that this is as easily believed to be true as it is to be fake.

Whether it's a racist pos or a very dumb decision by the Sumlin family.

I'm not saying it's real. I'm correcting the x box nerds who think you put the address for where a letter is going in the top left.
