I don't think there is any hope for you. You just see things through a different lens.
There are a lot of fakes. Someone who has seen a lot of fakes can spot a fake in a way that may not make sense to someone who hasn't seen all those fakes

It wouldn't surprise me at all if one of our fans did this. We have some absolute idiots, and basically anyone that follows our program is very pissed off.
Even if it was fake it doesn't matter, there's no way it will be proven and the media narrative is written.

They are still people who would, no one is defending them. If this is real and a person is found he/she would be condemned. Just like people arguing it's real would condemn a false flag
The problem is in high profile cases like this it is a false flag far too often because it is so effective in today's society.
This will spread like wildfire and cause tensions or "a conversation," yet if it ends up being fake that news will not be nearly as proliferated.
