You have to remember, the bar code is the zip where the envelope is going... not where it came from. The bar code is for the mail sorting machines.

It wasn't a Texas fan, because the envelope is from College Station, and was never mailed.
It's most likely the envelope is from Charlene Sumlin's personal stationary, and that she doesn't want the letter to be investigated.
I think this is going to blow up in the Sumlins' face big time

#1 Neither of these statements have been proven true
#2 Even if they were proven true, it would still be a far cry from evidence that the letter was forged.

Can you type out those numbers you got in the different fields? I'm trying to look into some of them. For example, I can't find anything for the Service Type (PDF) you got. I think yours says 009 or 000? Can't tell.

I don't know that the conclusions are wrong, but I think it's weird so many instantly assumed it was falsified and gave this Coach's wife zero benefit of the doubt. I can't think of a situation in life like this where I would do that, unless the person in question had a history of making things up, which as far as we know Mrs. Sumlin had no such history.
Then on top of that the "evidence" put forth in no way proves it to be fake, and in fact it's not even close.

Okay fair enough. Stuff like that happens. Maybe it happened here, maybe it didn't. I don't know how you can ascertain that just from looking at what was posted though.
