Not really too different
I agree, I wasn't trying to start a dick measuring contest. At the end of the day it's all the same thing, same goal.
I am cool on pictures though, same reason I didn't hoard Playboys when I was a kid. I don't like looking at picture of weed I can't smoke or women I can't frick!

Unfortunately, their hardest hitter and defensive leader (Howard Matthews) moved on.
Can't wait to see Chavis' new defense doing anything they can to avoid taking Fournette's D to the throat.

I love everything about Baton Rouge except the traffic. I'm sure you have no clue to why you don't like baton rouge

Our hardest hitters were Armani Watts and AJ Hilliard.

That's like saying Brandon LaFell is the leader of the Pats offense

The funny thing about this is that nobody who understands football thinks that Chavis outschemed Sumlin and he wanted to bring that knowledge in house.
LSU beat A&M by playing very vanilla defenses that forced A&M to beat them by committing to the run (which they were unwilling to do) or by passing into zone coverages (which they were unable to do).
Meanwhile, the LSU offense simply controlled the LOS and wore out the defense while keeping the Aggie offense off the field.
There was no genius in scheme...quite the opposite. Rushing 3, dropping 8, with an occasional blitz off the edge once a drive to try and put Aggie in long down and distance against ballhawking DBs. None of that helps A&M.
Except now, no Chavis.
It was a lot more that just droping 8. It's disguising coverages and making adjustments. it is getting players in position to make plays. But we will see how it plays out. I would like to see what this D looks like with Chavis at the helm.

Well some people just cant handle the heat. Some people are paranoid. Your bar scene line has me questioning whether or not you've been to Baton Rouge.

I spend time in New Orleans for work each year. But never Baton Rouge. Don't most visiting fans stay in New Orleans on game weekends? I guess I've always heard Baton Rouge has very little to offer.

Yeah alot of visitors stay in New Orleans but not near the majority. You should come to BR for the Aggie game then make that decision for yourself. N.O is a concrete jungle chalked full of too many( very interesting) people and it never sleeps, of course it's going to be a better place to visit, Nawlins is like a whole different world. Baton Rouge is more homey and we pretty much have all the quips, can't think of what we're lacking.

A&M offensive tackle said Chavis has proven he can do more with less. Said now Chavis is going to have high level talent to work with.
Must be one of the Aggie ranters
