The admission standards are for all Texas schools not just A&M. That’s why it’s Oklahoma and not Texas Tech that these kids go to.

Based on a simple internet search, it appears Clemson is the 3rd hardest school in their own state to be admitted to. Maybe you should sit this discussion out, potato of the south.

The best programs in Texas are soft, and the best players in Texas don't want to be a part of it, so they are forced to make business decisions, and attend school out of state. Sad!

We could take the best 50 kids each year and still miss out on great players. Texas just produces that many good kids.

Could you imagine having just one major conference school in your state? It would be gross incompetence not to compete every year for conference championships and playoff spots.
