cardboardboxer, you have to be kidding us when you say " I care about them as role models for future Aggies". Does the name Johnny Football ring a bell? Do you recall how he was treated like a god, all the while being a complete & total jerk, a selfish, greedy prick, thinking only of himself, risking throwing his teammates under the bus all for the sake of a few thousand dollars? He is your role model???

Actually it was academic admins who misinformed the athletic department. Foster's appeal before the academic hearing board was upheld simply because the rule had been misinterpreted. The NC2a agreed that the ineligibility ruling was in error.
