It seemed like Burrow winning the job so late screwed things up in 2018, plus lack of depth on OL. Started to turn around with the Rice game though

Last year’s success really brought those averages up.

He's also 2-0 vs the Defensive coach known as Kirby Smart.

With an average win margin of 23.6 points.

The year before, LSU only had 5 games where they didn't score 30+ points. The offense wasn't bad in 2018, just had no depth on the offensive line and a bunch of inexperienced players everywhere.

It wasnt so much that he won the job, its that Miles left the program in a shite situation at quarterback.

Based on my quick math, the points per game rose by about 7 points. Just pointing out it’s not a huge sample size and that a historically great year like 2019 would greatly affect those averages.

Y’all are gonna see that Brady was not the cog in the machine you thought he was! He understood the RPO and brought the concept not the playbook! Ensminger and Brady came up with plays and Ensminger worked with the team to implement it. My son works in the LSU Football AD and he says LSU won’t miss a beat if Brennan can deliver the ball with half the accuracy Burrow did

Like O, his biggest attribute is knowing what he doesn't know and deferring when warranted

Play design has little to do with long term success.

Execution is 60% and the right playcalling sequence is 20% of having a good unit.

Which is why I said “If Brennan could deliver the ball with half the accuracy Burrow did”. Not to mention Scott Linehan understands the RPO very well from what I am hearing and has added great value to our already awesome playbook!

Definitely, I'm just echoing what you said. Burrow is a much bigger loss than any coach.

Not sure about the RPO, but he's definitely a big spread/air raid guy and has tons of experience. Also has been a receivers coach, the position Brady held.

At first I was very hesitant about Linehan but the more I've heard from the insiders the better i feel.
