Experts and real CFB fans understand and appreciate Stetson’s talent. Idiots try and asperse him. He’s a national championship QB, and those are a rare breed. Idiots, however, are a dime-a-dozen.

Smokeyone really believes number of attempts is the most important stat.

He plays with greater talent than most QBs. Plain and simple. You should be happy about that, not obsessively insecure about it.

If it is an outlier it can skew the stats. As in super high attempts would explain more yards but lower completion percentage. Or in Bennetts case low attempts and lower completion rate coupled with lower over all yardage would indicate that that that his role in the O was pretty low. That teams over played the run and that allowed for more 25 yard passes to become 30-40 yard passes. Or that he only played 1/2 a game like Tug did for Alabama. But when we look at UGA box scores it becomes apparent that he play the overwhelming majority of snaps, especially after being named the starter.
He’s a low floor/low ceiling QB that was happy to be on the team that benefited from a really deep D in a year that saw UGA play a bunch of 1st and last year coaches. And the only game they really needed a QB to step up…. They lost, badly.

UTs football program is the bastard child of an abortion clinic banging a dumpsterfire..... UF is getting close.

It can skew stats, but that can go in either direction.

WHOA. Correct me if wrong, but you just admitted less pass attempts skewed his total number of yards (per game) down!
This is a mind blowing event.

Alabama was beating UGA 18-13.
There were 10 minutes left in the game.
The National Championship was on the line.
Obviously, UGA really needed a QB to step up at this time.
What do you think happened?

Pretty much this. Games were over at halftime, so we killed clock, which you admit decreased Bennett overall stats.

So another QB has significant stats in the 3rd and 4th quarter in games? I looked and just don’t see it. It seems that once Bennett started he played all but the last series or 2.

So Bennett sealed the game with game winning drive…. No wait, a crippled Bama O struggled all game and game up a game sealing int.

Yep.
4 pass attempts
4 completions
83 yards
2 tds
Can’t step up for your team in a time of need, in a huge game, any better than that.

Sure it wasn’t…

The pick six sealed it, but it was Stetson who is responsible for the go-ahead touchdown to take the lead in the final minutes.

We already had the lead thanks to stetson, the airmail was icing.
But cant expect a dumb kunt ut fan to understand football.

There were 2 more throws that were PIs. Tack on another 30 yards without any official stats.

7 point swing that effectively ended the game. Even with Bama crippled by injury the game was still in doubt.

Going up 8 points forcing Bama to not only score a TD but also go for a two point conversion, just to take it to overtime, was all Bennett. Not to mention the previous TD by Bennett on the previous drive to get us out of the deficit. But he sucks in your opinion, which is what this is all about. You think he sucks because you are a moron.

UGA scored two 75 yard drives for touchdowns.
Bama has a 3 and out for -2 yards and throws a pick 6.
The final drive by Bama was 7 plays for 16 yards (12 yard sack on 4th down).
It shouldn't take a Tennessee grad to imagine what UGAs offense and defense could do with more time on the clock.

18-13 bama changed to 26-18 uga after the final 2 uga drives, led by Bennett, were finished with 2 Bennett td passes.
We needed bennett to step up, and he stepped up.
Bama needed young to step up, and he passed the ball to ringo instead.
