I am a college football fan. Why would any of us care about the NFL HOF? Alabama fans care more about what their players do in the NFL than how they do in college.

But there have been quite a few Heisman Trophy7 winners that failed in the NFL, and it seems Alabama fans are more concerned with the NFL than they are college right now.

Very real possibility. But Georgia and (apparently) Alabama fans will always remember him as the guy that overachieved and won two National Championships.
Why are Alabama fans so fixated on a player being remembered forever by all fans?
I don't care if anybody remembers who he is next year, much less 10 years from now. And name a QB from a team 22 years ago? I couldn't name any other player from that team off the top of my head. Name them and I will recognize their names. People will probably recognize Bennett's name in 10 years, too.

I would be willing to bet most choose one much more than the other.
I haven't watched an NFL game in quite awhile. But my point is it seems people in this thread are absolutely fixated on what college players do when they go to the NFL. Who cares? it doesn't change what they did in college, does it?
Tim Tebow is still making millions based off what he did in college. Probably making more than if he were in the NFL as a backup QB.

The whole point of the thread is how poorly Stetson's interviews with NFL teams appear to be going. It's a relevant discussion because the draft is only a couple of weeks away. There have been plenty of topics prior to this discussing his accomplishments during his 9 years in college.
