It ain't so much the number of penalties bama opponents get it's when. Took not one, but two bogus PI call two years ago to get bama in the endzone in the last minute of the game against Arkansas.
Of course, JJ Meador didn't catch the ball either.

You don't remember the uncalled holding on Cody when Scott ran past him for a TD last year in TS?
You don't remember a Bama TD being called back for a holding penalty last year in TS?
I think we've been called for a hold on damn near 50% of our punt returns this year.

None of the other calls or noncalls were obviously bad.
I wouldn't say that. There was a pretty obvious block in the back on Julio's TD, the Bama DL with a handful of a LSU OL's face mask on one play and the spearing of Jefferson. All were bad no-calls.
But none of that would have mattered with a 4 TD lead.

The no-call on the phantom facemask against Hitt. I saw that play 20 times and I still don't see the Bama guy grabbing, pushing Hitt's facemask.
Where is all the video/pics on that?
Posigaytiger nation are just gay.
Bama was better last year and better this year. It sucks, but true.

Well dammit, then! Send back your yearly SEC paycheck and secede from the conference!
Maybe you guys could go C-USA and devote all of your energy to develop that Tulane rivalry game that you all have been clamoring for.

The block in the back was not. Ticky-tac at best.
Taylor took a bad angle more than anything. He made a bad play, period.

Counterpoint: SEC executives and its officials risk federal prison sentences for rigging games, and it's not worth it for them to tilt games in one team's favor.
I'm just guessing here, but I'm gonna say that the difference between a UA-UF championship and, let's just say, an OM-UF championship is probably close to $1 billion after it's all said and done...
Now, my question for you is this:
If you found $1 billion on the street would you
A) Turn it in to the authorities and avoid imprisonment, or
B) Keep some or all of it and figure there was no way you'd get caught.
I'll tell ya' right now my answer would be "B", and so would Mike Slive's and Rogers Redding's.
Doesn't make it right, just sayin'.....

There was no block in the back on JJ's TD. If that little touch had been called it would have been worse than the INT call.
I'll give you the "hands to the face" on Dareus.
The "spearing" ........... maybe. It wasn't a vicious hit. I guess it should have been called, but I think it was more poor tackling form than an attempt to spear.
So, let's say it was three bad calls. Now what? Do you think that if Bama had lost that we wouldn't find at least three calls to bitch about? That's the nature of the game, no big deal. What is ridiculous is the fans, and media especially perpetuating this "conspiracy" myth when there have been no more blown calls one way or another than there usually is in any conference on any year.

Oh, you meant if LSU had a 4 TD lead? I thought you just had a very foggy memory of how bad Bama had beaten LSU.

Why do the bama fans get all upset when moving the sec out of bama is brought up?
Just have it relocate every five years or so. I'm sure that with office vacancies pretty high that Atlanta, Nashville, Jacksonville, Orlando, Memphis, etc would love to host the SEC.
Hell, the SEC could bid it out and make money on the deal.

Wrong. There is a reason the media keeps talking about the unprecedented number of game-changing, missed calls and no-calls: There is an unprecedented number of game-changing, missed calls and no calls...
Bama won. Bama was the better team. I, for one, am not questioning that fact.
What I DO question -- and what every college football fan in the world should be questioning, ESPECIALLY BAMA since this is justifiably taking away from your team's efforts and accomplishments in the eyes of the world that exists outside of Tuscaloosa -- is the consistent cases of clear, undeniable, biased officiating that have gone on this year.
This stuff IS newsworthy because it IS happening. Not saying that the conspiracy is real, but the number of horrible calls this year is VERY REAL...
Hell, look at the ESPN sportsnation poll!!! Most of the country disagrees with you! Are they right? Who knows? But if an issue is at the top of most fans' minds, the media has a duty to talk about it...
Look, I wish you were right. God, how I wish I could say with confidence that 100% of our officials are calling games with the utmost integrity. Unfortunately for us fans and the thousands of kids playing their hearts out in these games every week, nobody with a television and halfway decent eyesight can honestly make that statement after watching the 4th quarter of Saturday's game...
Sometimes the truth indeed hurts..

So you don't see a possible conflict of interest there? Who is the landlord?

No, I don't see a conflict. You imply that location of the office dictates a bias. Where do you want the offices moved to? New Orleans? Shreveport?
As to your second question, the space is leased from the City of Birmingham. the lease runs through 2011. Enter your bids to move it now...
