The only one that matters is the last one. I've expressed this many times. Live in the past all you want. I'm not even gonna post our winning record in the last 25 years because then I'd be doing the same shite. It's all about the last one and the next one.

This thread isn't about State vs. Ole Miss.

It's about the season as a whole, although I'm not surprised you missed that.

It's not been about that for the last half a page. I'm not surprised you missed that.

Can't believe he won the Thorpe. So over-rated.

A few ole miss fans on here had a bad feeling about the egg bowl in November when we were playing terrible at the end of the season.

You can call bs all you like though

17-10

See here is the fallacy,

Basing next years prediction off last years results, it seldom works like that with the egg bowl because you are going on the road the next season.

This usually brainwashes people's 2 year memory and makes them forget how hard it is to win on the road.

So I repeat my original statement

I find it amusing how fast people on both sides of this rivalry forget how hard it is to win this game on the road.

But I get it, fans of both sides always feel they can beat the other and usually mark it up as a W, it's how it's supposed to be, it's a rivalry.

The problem with y'all blaming luck is the fact that you guys didn't touch the end zone offensively. And we had a 3rd strings QB for 3 quarters.

Only surefire losses I see are LSU and Bama. Does that mean we go 10-2? Probably not. But every other team that we play will be a game. 7-5 - 9-3 is where our record will fall depending on the aTm, AU games and the egg bowl

If Dak plays the whole game and we didn't have to run our special teams out on the field, State wins by minimum 4 TDs, maybe 5 or 6.

we beat y'all with a freshmen QB last year who started 1 game?

So Dak didn't beat us then?

And if Bo doesn't have the flu or a bum shoulder, we win by 3 touchdowns. We can play this game all day if you want.

You can't really claim luck in the Egg Bowl. You had several horrible calls go your way and we were starting a 3rd string QB. You guys really had no excuse to lose that game.

What's the definition of "always" in this context?

Auburn was down once in the last 20 years and lost. All other games retroactively changed to being "pretty damn close" as a result. That definition make it fit, joseph?
