Our front seven is almost good enough to make up for our terrible DB's.

We are going to be hard to run against, but if yall can stop our pass rush our DB's will be in trouble. Biggest mismatches Saturday night will be LSU's receivers against State's DBs.

Actually State and OM have similar issues here. Our only defense against the pass is a fierce pass rush.

If y'all have any life at QB, your receivers will abuse our corners

Our OL is a work in progress and isn't getting the push or providing the pass protection that we've been accustomed to over the last few years. Are y'all salty up front?

Our OL has been a work in progress since 2009.

You'll find no issues with Dupre. Everyone else though, watch out.

Yep. States best game plan might just be to let dupre run free all night and watch him drop balls.

I will say that our DB's are improving. If you don't force us to put 3 of them on the field and pull Graham into the mix then they can be nasty.

Harris will make just enough, 3 or 4 throws that will beat. Plus LF will probably break thru on a couple.

Simmons enjoys hitting QB's more than woman--That should scare the hell out of Etling.

Always enjoy state week

Used to have lots of coworkers in the oilfield from state. All the best kind of people you can imagine. Now livelong friends. I never will hear the end of it if state beats us at home this year.

AJ Jefferson, Simmons and Nick James on the line, brutal plus two other guys rotating that are future beasts on the line. LB's are good too.

If they are so good how did you lose to a sun belt team?

It's called having some key players not playing in that game plus we lost both starting CB's right before that game in practice. One torn ACL the other broke his arm.

A lot of youth and young kids think a 17-0 lead at halftime was enough. Lot of growing up since then. We actually have more talent in the secondary but they are young and need more and more game experience. I thought they cut down on some mistakes last game. It won't be until mid-season before they find their identity but trust me, they are very talented.

If you have problems with your DBs then prepare for us to run it up the gut all night.

I like our front 7 just fine. Big uglys in the middle (Nick James, Nelson Adams, Corey Thomas, Jeffrey Simmons) and then relentless AJ Jefferson, Jonathan Calvin, Torey Dale on the ends. Gerri Green, Richie Brown, Javier Jung, JT Gray, Leo Lewis at LB.

But the seconday is very young. Very talented with speed but young. Hope they improve with a game under their belt.

I remember people said the same thing in 2014 after state gave up about 5,000 yards passing to UAB before we played them. Then we proceeded to run the toss dive over and over again to a loss
