The excuses in this thread are eerily similar to excuses LSU fans were making after getting demolished in Starkville last year. The games were similar and the fan reaction is similar.

He received his baptism into SEC football this past weekend. My only problem is that he abandoned the run from the start. We only ran the ball 12 times total. That's ridiculous.

He’s a proven offensive guru.
Let him have a full year.
He's not an offensive guru. He's a pretty good offensive coor.
Kentucky might be a top 25 team but state was supposed to challenge for the west. I guess we have to wait for baseball season.

His system is not easy, especially for a team full of guys who played in the same system for years.quote:
Meh, everybody goes through these changes in systems.
The field was wet. We have a running qb.
We had 16 penalties.
You have a poor man's Jalen Hurts at QB. A wet field should have nothing to do with running the ball. Fitz has proven time after time he is not a good passer. Penalties are a sign of an undisciplined team.
Why are people pitch forking?

Moorhead may be a bust or may turn out good but we need a damn QB that can throw. Fitz ain't it. We have like 4 quarterbacks, I guess they are all running backs.

Mr. Horse is a State fan. Hey Mr. Horse how do you like having Moorehead as your HC?
