Trolling aside, and yes y'all definitely deserved, what are your feelings on him so far?
Being honest, I've only watched one of your games, but I don't get a good vibe from him. Seems very low energy, almost timid. Kind of uncomfortable in the spotlight. Psychoanalysis stuff aside, I really questioned his offensive gameplan. Why in the world was he throwing so much with a limited QB (in the rain no less) and why did he just let Allen beat up your tackle all night. Rarely gave him any help. Also, most of the penalties that really hurt you were of the discipline variety.
I know this is his first time as a HC on this type of stage, but interested in your thoughts?

He’s a proven offensive guru.
Let him have a full year.
His system is not easy, especially for a team full of guys who played in the same system for years.
The field was wet. We have a running qb.
We had 16 penalties.
Why are people pitch forking?
Kentucky is a top 25 team.

He shouldn't have abandoned the run. Though I read on another State site, that he would have runs called and Fitz had the ability to check out and call a pass. If so, he should have put a stop to it.

I hope Fitz loses his trigger if this is completely true.
I understand audibles...but we pay JoMo a shite load to call plays.
He will have to dummy down the scheme to fit our personal and lack of brain

Moorhead is a smart guy, and I trust he’ll take a lot of lessons from this game. It’s a shame our team has to face such a steep learning curve this year considering this will probably be our most talented squad for a few years down the road.
UK is a goddamn menace and I’d give them a chance against anyone not named Alabama. I’m pulling for y’all to win the East.
Big props to the cats fan base too for putting out that much energy in that kinda weather. The crowd had a huge effect on that game.

He’s a fat beta male that pays male prostitutes to have anal with his husband. You shouldn’t need to ask any State soyboys this to know the answer.

I agree with this. The setup was bad for MSU on Saturday night. The weather was awful, and it looked like Fitz had trouble with it all evening.
State is a good team, will win most of their games. Lots of overreaction to the loss. UK is a pretty solid team this year.

The field was wet for Snell too.

I said from the beginning that he is very introverted and uncomfortable publicly especially being new to the South. He has the personality and charisma of a Doorknob. Not a good fit but Mississippi State can't demand great coaches like other schools.

The guy is a good and intelligent coach. I was concerned about his transition to double duty as HC/OC in the SEC. That needs work. He is going to have to become more engaged in-game in all phases, especially if the defensive coordinator is going to remain in the booth. Also, his offense put a lot of emphasis on decision making for the players on the field. That was also a concern going in, do we have the players who can grasp that. Like I said the other night, the SEC doesn’t exactly have a bunch of Fordham/UCONN types dressing out every game.
Still early, so I am hopeful with this season. Historically we’ve not handled road games well in hostile environments against better than average teams, so it was somewhat par for the course Saturday night so I’m not ready to throw in the towel.
Need to get it together though. With several teams down plus the new transfer rules, this is a golden opportunity to make some hay recruiting wise so need to strike while that iron is hot to go to the next level.

Was snell throwing it on 1st,2nd, and 3rd down instead of running? That was his point.

HOW DARE YOU POINT OUT THE FALLACY IN THEIR LOGIC.
If someone had told JoMo they’d be playing on a wet field by gawd he’d a had them boys practicing in the sprinklers all week. It takes time to install that kinda offense on a wet field.

Kentucky played great, couple that with bad weather, penalties, and a rock in crowd and that’s a recipe for disaster.

He got completely out coached by Stoops.
He has a good offensive mind, and I fully believe that his scheme is good. But our coaching staff underestimated Kentucky after beating them 45-7 last year. I know that coaches don't really "look ahead" but it reminds me of the first Egg Bowl that Mullen coached and we beat Ole Miss unexpectedly by three scores. Houston Nutt's comments were along the line of "We normally don't have to prepare hard for MSU."
MSU had that moment against Kentucky. He was punched in the mouth and kept thinking we would out-athlete them. We never did. We weren't out of the game until late, but I believe he was really stunned that it was a game.
Those penalties didn't help either, but it was a well called game. State just played undisciplined. That's what you risk when your defensive leader is a woman beater.

I can buy that. Overconfidence then when UK played us equal it led to frustration and poor decision making
