Hey Skirp you do not get to change things up to fit your agenda. If you are going to use conferenence only, you have to remove the East. Ole Miss played SECe #1 and #4, while MSU played #5 and #6.

Lets remove some numbers, starting with SEC total

Dak Prescott in total SEC play
226/337, 67.1%, 2528 yards, 316.0 YPG, 17 TD, 4 INT, 144.4 rating
378 rushing yards, 8 rushing TD

Chad Kelly in total SEC play
191/305, 62.6%, 2427 yards, 303.4 YPG, 16 TD, 8 INT, 141.5 rating
360 rushing yards, 7 rushing TD

Dak in SECw only
Passing TDs - 10
Yards Passing - 1877
Rushing TDs - 4

Chad in SECw only
Passing TDs - 14
Yards Passing - 1847
Rushing TDs - 7

I did not remove our Egg Bowl game, because they each had 2 passing and 1 rushing TDs.

Show me where Dak was better though? If we cannot use weak OOC, you cannot use weak SECe.

Hell, Kelly won IN Tuscaloosa and IN Starkville. Dak couldn't even beat LSU and Alabama at home.

OM won in Tuscaloosa and Starkville. They were the better overall team this year. The games State won, Dak actually had to win himself. Kelly had very good oline play after Tunsil returned. Was never pressured in egg bowl. State had average starters at best on oline. No depth which was obvious in egg bowl with 2 starters out. State had 1 good DB that shut treadwell down in egg bowl. But OM has several good wr that flourished vs other side dbs. Redmond and Market going down really really hurt this year. Depth separates great teams from good teams. The two places State couldn't afford injuries is where they suffered them. OL and secondary. People can criticize Dak and even Mullen. But considering the circumstances they did what they could. Dak in fact excelled. Think about it. No Oline. No running game. Not much d past the line and lbs. was still 8-4. Still had a shot at sugar.
