wtf does that have to do with Saturday?

It has NOTHING to do with the outcome of this Saturday, but it does have something to do with the level of cockiness a person displays.

Reading the SECr over the last several months, you'd think MSU was in the middle of a 3 or 4 year win streak over Auburn.

I was talking about Bama ending the Auburn streak of iron bowls. Something like 8 of the last two or something? Sounds awfully similar.

And Bama fans weren't running our mouths about how we were going to dominate Auburn in 2008, because they had just won 6 in a row against us. Even entering the game undefeated and Auburn having a lack-luster year, we had our doubts. We hadn't beaten them in 6 years - even in the years we should have (2002, 2005), and we had never beaten them in Bryant-Denny.

We weren't busy running off at the the mouth, although it would have been more acceptible for us to run off at the mouth than for MSU.

MSU is 23-60 against Auburn.

That has about as much to do with Saturday as Tubbs win streak against 'Bama did in 08.

Alright. State is clearly the superior team, but you have to throw everything you know about the teams out the window in these rivalry games. anything can happen.

Yawn. This is the SEC opener so its of importance to Auburn, but thats it. Moo state thinks this is their super bowl.

Again, it has nothing to do with Saturday.

All I'm saying is that MSU fans look stupid as frick beating their chests about beating a team you've managed beat once in 10 years.

And this happens every single year. All we hear about during the off season is how MSU is going to beat Auburn this year. And it never happens. Maybe one day you all will learn to STFU and save some face, because everyone knows you won't be here on Saturday if you lose.

Hunchback Of The Bell Tower knows exactly what to do to win: bore the living crap out of us.

No more, no less. Just enough to put us all asleep. We'll all be out cold by mid-afternoon.

I fully expect my dog to hump the screen at the start, then be lulled into a terrible trance by halftime, finally succumbing to a deep slumber next to the couch by the 3rd quarter. It will then defecate itself early in the 4th - even though this k9 is completely house broken.

I think this game is huge for Mullen. He HAS to show that he can beat someone in the West other than Ole Miss. He has done good things at Mississippi State so far, but this is really an opportunity he has to seize.

Don't be jealous of the emergence of our new rivalry. They will still have enough hatred left for you...

I think it's funny that MSU wants to play UF in a questionable year.

It's like a boxer not wanting to fight a champion fighter his entire career until he is past his prime.

Give 'em a break. They're just taking after their head coach.

After looking at the stat line from ESPN 90% of Keihl's passing yards came from Lutzie and Blake. Banks could probably play Blake man the entire game, but I don't know who we'd have to match up with Lutz. Wells isn't big enough, and I'm not sure Skinner's fast enough . . .
