Hunter is a pretty average DE. Not sure why our fanbase is so obsessed with his veins. He gets a lot of tackles, but he isn't disrupting plays constantly like a stud DE should.

A lot of his tackles are in pursuit, which is admirable because he never gives up on plays. I've seen him make tackles 15 yards down the field several times.

Didn't get go under the knife? Only Alabama would jeopardize a kid's future by playing him less than 2 weeks out from surgery Get him an injection and get that boy on the field. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Probably because LSU's offense sucks so bad the defense has been on the field a lot.

I doubt Cam plays. High ankle sprains only heal after sufficient rest. If he plays too early they could lose him for the rest of the season.

I'm all for him playing though. Adds another story line to an already exciting game.

Hunter has played well in recent weeks, but overall he has been underwhelming compared to our past DE's

Good - let him play.

He'll probably be so full of pain-killer that he won't notice the maiming until the bones are scraped through the turf. (Is that insensitive of me?)

not after Godchaux accidentally maliciously falls on his ankle on the first series.

lol okay, yeah, that, or he just hasn't been near as impressive as LSU fans have hyped him up to be the past two years.

yeah they were on the field for 22 whole minutes against Ole Miss (Hunter had 9 tackles and 2 for a loss), average 33 min a game, good enough for 14th in the nation in TOP and 3rd in the SEC
