This may be hard for some to believe and I may have a corner cutoff of my Ole Miss fan card for saying nice things about my rival but one thing is for sure, you Bama fans are annoying as hell and I just can't get past that.
I graduated from State but I have NO issues giving credit to the Grove and Oxford. I loved going to games there!!

The idiot OP complained about the variety of food choices in the Student Union????
Mississippi State On-Campus non-cafeteria Dining
-----------
Burger King
Subway
Chick-fil-A
Zoca (mexican)
Toss it Up (salads)
Panda Express
Mississippi Steak (cheesesteaks)
Village Pizza
Einstein Bros. Bagels
Freshens
Pizza Hut
State Fountain Bakery
Starbucks
Alabama on-campus non-cafeteria dining
---------
Buffalo Phils
Dunkin DOnuts
Bama Cabana
Subway
Starbucks
Topios Pizza
Burger King
Chick-fil-A
Pan Geos (salads)
Greek Eats
Zoca (mexican)
Boars Head
Pizza Hut
State has a Panda Express, Bama has a Greek place - otherwise pretty similar.
The Taste of the Town segment was very complimentary of the food scene in Starkville. If you have been in the last 10 years and not just relied on what you have heard or are trying to be cool by making fun of a small Mississippi town, you know this.

He needs to be signed up to the cheese of the month list from State. If that can't turn him nothing will.

So you're complaining about food and you ate at the student union? And left after the game? So you didn't bother to go downtown where the good restaurants are, or go check out the bars after the game? Sounds like your shitty experience was your own fault, not the towns fault

Well fat people can't walk far. And let's be fair. The bars in the Cotton district are close quarters so fat people wouldn't have been very welcomed in there.

I know I'm nitpicking but you left off quite a few on campus eateries for Tuscaloosa:
Chipotle
Surin Thai
another Thai place I can't remember now
Waffle House
Steamers
Moe's Southwest Grille
Guthries
TCBY
Marble Slab Creamery
Hale's Tavern
Tuts
Zoe's Kitchen
Rama Jammas
Newks
and a couple I'm probably missing

How can you leave off BENTO!??!?!

Well we can technically use Buffalo Wild Wings and Strombolis as "on campus" eateries then.
And to the OP, why are you fat? Doesn't that suck arse? You don't know a guy on here that goes by Fireman17 do you? Could y'all be related?

A stip mall on 15th and McFarland is not "on-campus" But that's typical - the Alabama sidewalk alums probably consider Home Depot on campus.
That list came straight from the UA Ferguson Center website.

show me one place in Starkville that is as ghetto as McFarland. Tuscaloosa is a fricking crime-ridden inner city with a tiny area that is decent. Starkville has its issues but for a complete fricking retard like you to trash it is beyond ridiculous. You probably didn't even go. Just going by what you could see on TV. I can't even figure out what the "food court" you are spewing about is. You dumb frick GED sweating inbred bitch. I hope you die of AIDs and take everyoNe in your family with you
some people take this site to seriously

Not to hijack this thread with facts, but in theory, Starkville should be a lot like Auburn and similar size cities with large land grant universities.
The problem was, prior to 1999, the entire Starkville City Government was anti-university. They literally did everything to spite MSU and would not work together on any partnership agreements that would benefit MSU and Starkville. So the 80s/90s jokes about Starkville were truly warranted. It was a shite hole in 1995 when I started.
Students got a voice on the City Council in 1999, and a few years later, elected a 28-year old alum that went to UNC Chapel Hill for law school mayor. Now you have young alums that want to stay and make Starkville better and that's why you see things getting better, much to the annoyance of old money Starkville.

"A stop on 15th and Mc Farland....."
No need to get prissy about it. Every single restaurant I listed except for Newks is either on the strip, in BDS (Zoes Kitchen) or right next to BDS (Ramma Jammas). I didn't list a single eatery from downtown or the rest of the city.
