I did go to the game. Left right after...
The new construction of the stadium was REALLY ugly. No restaurants on your campus except for the subway and generic fast food in the food court..
Oh and you guys tailgate like pussies.

I've been to my fair share of games at both campuses and Tuscaloosa is like a small NASCAR rally. State may have a smaller number of fans but I've had more fun in Starkpatch. This may be hard for some to believe and I may have a corner cutoff of my Ole Miss fan card for saying nice things about my rival but one thing is for sure, you Bama fans are annoying as hell and I just can't get past that.

I was at the UA/LSU game this year and went to Buffalo Phil's for lunch. We sat beside a big table of sidewalkers in the back while watching the AU game. A 50-60 year old gump fell out in the floor passed out drunk (1:30 in the afternoon) next to us right in front of the piano. The guy was at least 300 pounds. His old buddies couldn't get him up, so me and my buddy had to go carry the drunk frick out of the back door before he got arrested.
Then while at our seats, the people in front of us had the back rest cushioned seats, and they were placed halfway into our legroom. Naturally, everytime we moved we bumped them. They kept telling us to stop bumping them. We finally told them to move their fricking seats up or get over it, and that it was a football game, not a dance recital.
I hate that place now. It used to be an awesome time when I knew students there, but I don't want to mingle with the common crowd again. Terrible time.

I've had fun in Starkville too. If you know people in a college town and can't have fun, then something is wrong with you.

I've been to both towns multiple times and I would hands down prefer Starkville to Tuscaloosa.. Tuscaloosa was fun but Starkville IMO was way better

The amount of houndstooth merchandise you are forced to see is appalling. Even if I were a UaT fan, I'd be ashamed of the overkill that is that god-awful ink blot resembling material.
