College Football is back. What a great game.

It was a great game. It is kind of lame to see the state of Stanford football today. College Football is best when it’s coast to coast.

Winning kicker story:
Dan Wetzel
@DanWetzel
Kansei Matsuzawa is from Tokyo, where at age 20 he was a waiter at a Morton’s Steakhouse.
On a vacation to the US he saw a NFL game. Returned home and taught himself to place kick via YouTube videos.
Convinced Hocking College in little Nelsonville, Ohio to let him come and kick FGs. He spoke almost no English and had so little money he gave himself haircuts.
Excelled in kicking and English. Transferred to Hawaii this summer.
Just booted the game winner to beat Stanford, 23-20.
I love college football.

Awesome story. His game winner was also the only college game going and on CBS. Ordinarily, no one would have seen it. Happy for him and Hawaii. Screw Stanford…

Just read an article that posits Stanford may be the worst Power Four team this season and the evidence is pretty damning.
Stanford led Hawaii by three with six minutes left in the fourth quarter and had the ball inside the Rainbow Warriors' 30-yard line.
They failed to make it a two possession game or even extend the lead to 6.
Also noted how Andrew Luck as general manager brought in Ben Gulbranson from Oregon State and he was clearly the worst QB on the field last night and which includes the Hawaii QB who was limping most the game.
If the over/under for Stanford victories were 1.5 I would take the under.

That Hawaii QB performed the greatest disparity of limp when not playing to miraculously healed when playing I’ve ever seen.
That said he’s going to get NIL BANK next season. Stud.
