Dude I know a ton of UT fans and alum. 2 people in my training class are UT alum. All have said UF Is the biggest game of the year.
2 guys o the SECr in a scheduling thread isn't going to sway 25 years of friends I've made
Hell I went to Gville with 4 of them a few years back and all I heard for an 8 hour drive was how much they fricking hate Florida.

That is not really a consideration. But we only have one rival that we have to have on our schedule. Bama has two, as does Auburn and Uga.

I'm sure they do. But Tennessee's biggest rival is Alabama and it's really not close.

Like Georgia is Fla biggest rival....just not with the younger crowd. FSU is the bigger rival to them.

Not sure where the disconnect is with you UT fans. I think this thread alone proves you do in fact have 2 rivals.
I've been to Knox on the weekend of Bama and UF and they were both crazy. Most UT fans would consider UF a rivalry.

Question for those good at quick math. If Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia did as some of you suggest how often would the 2 matchups come up on each team's schedule? In other words, how long would fans have to wait for Alabama/Tennessee and Auburn/Georgia?

Alabama is Tennessee's biggest rival. I believe you that a few friends may think differently, but the overwhelming sentiment among Vol fans is that Bama is the bigger rival.

I think you misunderstood. I hate Florida. I consider them a rival. But not THE rival. I certainly want Tennessee to end that losing streak in September.

To be fair, it's not really a rivalry when we are being fitted for the second thumb ring celebrating nearly 10 victories in a row over the Vololols

I am sure they are for the purposes of this thread, but whenever I see a thread polling everyone's rival, I would say it is about even between UF and Bama.

\ But volfan, I'm starting to think UT fans are split. Because it's more than a few that I know. And don't get me wrong, they hate bama too. But they really really hate UF. Like go to Gville every other year and wear jorts and troll UF fans for an entire weekend
