He left Florida in the lurch as well when he quit that job. When you are done, you are done. I would rather he GTFO rather than collect a few more paychecks like most of them do. You seem to be a little butthurt over Spurrier leaving Carolina. So I see he is still all up in your noggin'.

I think this is pretty accurate. He's a Gator, and we gladly borrowed him. But he also embraced USC and definitely raised its profile.

But it's not CoSo, whatever that is. It's Colatown.

He retired when he realized he wasn't the guy for the job anymore. Some people would find that admirable to know when it's best for the program to find a coach who is better suited to win than he was at that point rather than collecting another 6 games of paychecks and forcing the program to fire him and pay a buyout to do it.
