The UA/UT rivalry over the last decade is 7-3 Bama.
The AU/UGA rivalry over the last decade is 7-3 UGA.

Just curious if you think the AU/UGA rivalry is over as well?

Interdasting question.

Made me curious about LSU-Florida.

LSU and Florida are 5-5 against each other for the last decade.

But from 1988 to 2002, LSU was 2-13 against Florida.

I believe 1997 is the only year Spurrier ever lost to LSU as either a player or coach (at Florida).

I knew there was a reason I used to hate Spurrier with the fire of a thousand suns.

At the end of the day the UT/Bama "rivalry" has been over since Saban got to town.

Fixed it for you.

Tennessee doesn't care about football or any men's sports anymore.

While the Tennessee/Bama rivalry was dead even.

You didn't see Tennessee fans demanding the permanent opponent be ended then, even though Florida had a huge advantage getting to play LSU every year.

So you believe that Tennessee fans wanted to stop playing Alabama every year in the mid-late 90s just because Florida got to play LSU?

No, but what I do think is you should be ashamed that UT will be a guaranteed W for bama until Saban retires. Do everyone a favor and let Bama play UF or something.

Bama fans don't see it that way. They claim it's "tradition" when it's really an easy W every year. IMHO

No. UT had its own issue with beating Spurrier, just like everyone else did so it rarely came into play.

Also, there was nothing even about winning 7 in a row against Bama at that time

I guess we should have just ditched the Third Saturday back in the 90s when we couldn't score a win if our lives depended on it.

Back in the 90s you also got to play Vandy every year. That was Bama's reward for playing UT. Funny how you guys forget the favors that were done because you didn't want to play too many good teams from the East. It was a problem then, and it is a problem now.

Yeah, we had to dig pretty deep to get a 'gimme' win back then.

Yeah, one guaranteed 'L' a year was enough.

The bottom of the deck scheduling in favor of Bama is running out of time.

If the LSU fan base keeps up their rightful complaints, things will eventually change.
