Be honest though, how many people would think South Carolina before Southern Cal when they hear USC?
It's almost like hearing FSU and thinking Fresno St before Florida St.

I'm sure there are better examples you could have chosen than that, b/c there is not Fresno State University, it's California State University, Fresno and they call themselves Fresno State...but not Fresno State University.

While neither program has a BCS title, Clemson has a pretty comfortable lead h2h.

Nice, I may have a small client for you. My Dad's neighbors out here have a mfg firm that needs some help with their erp/prp & logistics software. I interviewed with them but they can't pay nearly what it'd take for me stay longer than a few months before I found something paying better. I'll call ya and explain their situation.

right on sounds interesting. Hopefully i'll be able to help them out.

I don't know how comfortable it is right now for them, since we've won 4 straight and we're most likely going to put up a 5th won this November. From what I've heard from them, it doesn't matter if Abo gets to the ACCCG again, if he doesn't beat USC, he's done.

What would you know, you're not even a real clemson fan or even in SC? Go to Tigerrant.net and surf around, you'll see a glimpse of what I'm talking about (especially those threads right after our game with them last year.)

Neat, you found more football historical data to hold onto. Remember it's like Holtz said, "If what you did yesterday seems big, you haven't done anything today."

Clemson sucks the backside of a donkey's prolapse. The school...town...fans...stadium. All of them. I can't wait til this fall when we get to raw-dawg that arse in their own shithole. All I was saying was that in the South, USC is South Carolina. Southern Cal, while maybe more nationally prominent, is a tier below South Carolina and the SEC in general and doesn't look to be coming up anytime soon. USC is older with more historically tradition. Southern Cal is a wanna-be hippy fig-fest where celebrities go on the weekend for co-ed blowjobs.

I don't have much love for clemson either but as far as traditional power in the state of south carolina it is them.

so you admit USC is more prominent nationally than USCl but are still a tier below them? do you know what prominent means?

Im perfectly fine with losing to Clemson in the past if they are okay with getting their arse stomped in the present.

I know exactly what it means...prominent as in more well-known or stands out more, but as far as on-the-field football they are below USC right now and wouldn't go 7-5 in the SEC.

Can we please stop the bull shite already. Nobody ever referred to SoCal as USC until those dickbag announcers at ESPN started doing it okay. Even back in the 90's when you read scores at the bottom of the tv screen the trojans we're abbreviated as SOCAL. Then, all off a sudden they started getting mad love from espn and they started calling them USC.

As a GA fan already pointed out we've been around a lot longer than SoCal. Morever, we represent our state.

Can you point on a map to the state of SOCAL???

Btw we've already met them on the gridiron I think we proved last time who the real USC was.

Anyway to the original question. I believe our next coach will be whoever the best guy is at the time.

FYI clemson is abbreviated as CU and was only formed after a faction broke off from The University of South Carolina. So South Carolina is the University in this state. Clemson fans wouldn't even have an institution if it wasn't for us.
