his record in the big 10 is comparable to what Petrinos was here against ranked opponents.

So if USClite and Tenn vacancies come open at the same time, who makes the better hire? are you capable of outclassing their hire like arkansas did this time around?

Oh lord no, I hope we get a way better coach than the guy who looks like Butt Head and who beat up the little sisters of the poor of the Big10.

If Tenn and USC were looking for a coach at the same than it could be a real battle, but there is time b/w now and then for the factors to develop or play out. Hypothetically, if Spurrier continues to have a winning % of 85% or better for the next 4 years and Tenn has a winning % of 30% over that same time frame, a coach might choose USC over Tenn. Also, they might not be able to spend the money they would like to on a new coach if they are still paying for 2+ old ones. Way to many factors are involved to do anything but speculate.

Ohio State just came after our women's basketball coach and even tried playing the race card and evoking the Confederate Flag that flies in the front of our State Capital Building ... and that did not work. Tennessee made overtures to Spurrier before they hired Dooley ... and that didn't work. Texas came after Ray Tanner ... and that didn't work.

And the USClite bullshite is wearing thin frick face. Also, Tennessee made a better hire this time around than arkansas did - and Bielema is not only classless, but a dumbass as well.

Arky is fine with that. It's a good fit. No flame.

Bielema is a way more established head coach from a much better conference than the big east. Not a single person who objectively has watched college football for the last 5 years would agree with you.

Remember when Wisconsin beat TCU in the Rose Bowl?

BCS bowl every few years, LSU fans consistently pissed off, and not having to hear shite from anyone but bama fans for the most part... it was a pretty sweet gig.

And yet, he's still a WR coach.

Come onnnnnn ... you know better and you know the deal.

Dad is OC, but Bubba makes plenty of the calls from the box, the HBC and he are on the phone together constantly throughout a game.

But you go ahead and focus on that WR Coach title.

You're not seriously trying to validate Bielema's worth by evoking his record in the lowly B1G, are you? Seriously?

Surely you've seen that stat that pops up on the Rant once a day that shows how inflated his record is vs the lower-tier B1G teams and how sub-par his record is vs the B1G big boys?

If Tennessee had hired Bulimia and Arkansas hired Butch Jones, would you be talking up Butch Jones the way you do Bulimia?

The funny thing about statistics, especially ones used here on the rant is they only show the side of the story the poster wants. I think that's a flawed stat, if you pull petrinos record in the same manner you get equal results. I'd expect if you did that for spurrier at USc you'd get similar if not worse results.

So we should all pay attention to the ones that make Arkansas look good, and not the ones that make Arkansas look bad.

Got it.

No, i'd try to stay away from the subject with deflections because I don't think it's an argument you could win if you start really comparing the coaches experiences.

I posted the dudes career head coaching record. that's a pretty unbiased stat. He consistently wins a high percentage of the games placed in front of him at a non power house university in what many consider a strong conference during most seasons. My stat means no more or less than that.
