interesting line for sure

Not really. A point or two for Bama and 4 points home-field. That's where I expected it to be. It may fluctuate between between 4 and 6.5, but I doubt it will go past either of those numbers.

Has either team not covered the spread all year?

Once each, maybe?

Chump change ... 25K for me ... I'll miss the game, being on safari in South Africa from Wednesday before the game until the following Thursday after the game on a cull/management hunt ... we'll prolly take 3 or 4 big bulls.

This will be the 4th of my big 5 ...

I'll need to name it when it's on my wall

I kinda like the name Nicodemus

Bama has been crushing the spread. I know they killed it against PSU, Arky, UF, and Vandy. I forget the other teams bama has played or even if there was a spread at all against the cupcakes, but they have killed it in all the main games and it hasn't been close.

ETA: I also remember LSU covered against Oregon, WVU, MSU, UF as well.

lsu did not cover vs NWST or UK. they missed both of those by very small margins.

i think the NWST game was by .5 and UK was by .5 or 1.5

Totally irrelevant. LSU won both those games by large margins and played 2nd & 3rd stringers 2nd half.

Les Miles is not a run-up-the-score kinda coach like Spurrier et. al.

Not that it means much, being the old Golden Nugget, and with but a 1K limit, but the Nugget Futures had it Bama -9 this past June. Bama is 3.5 to 4 over LSU in many power rating sets, toss in 4 for BDS HFV, it will remain in the TD range.

Will be interested in what Henry at Pinny, Spiro at Greek, Sacco at CRIS, and Skip at Grande open it.

Bingo! NWSt was ex-LSU DC Peveto, coming in saying gracious things about Miles and LSU, and having to can Paul Harris from squad. Joker and Ky, like 'em or not, was a crack of dawn game off string of isolated natty tv affairs on the road in primetime.

The vast majority of LSU backers have been on them all four covers, and took small flyers on NW St and/or Ky.

LSU, Bama, Wisc, Okie St, Okla, Clem, Stan, etc..have killed the BMs to date. All 9-for-9 Top Ten teams covered handily last Saturday, and the Top 10 are 77% ATS to the year, according to the LV SB Mgr that texted SVP's show yesterday.

Every BM is crying right now. But, they'll make a comeback on the public and chalk-layers before the season ends..they always do.

Absent something aberrational in the meantime ('Bama loses to Ole Miss, for example, or all 4 of LSU's running backs contract dengue fever), I suspect it will dwindle to about 4 by the week of the game, reflecting home field plus maybe a point for perceived difference in strength overall.

Sure.

I predict that two Bama scores will be directly related to officiating. One drive will be kept alive by an unsportsmanlike call against LSU DBs after a failed Bama pass, for taunting, which will be in real life, the usual and continual chatter.
Another drive will be kept alive by a valid, but otherwise never called this entire season against any team in football, penalty for "piling on".

The officials can name the score, right now.
Holding. Holding. 1st and 30.

Actually is relevant, it is a thread about sports wagering.

To answer another question from above, Bama has covered all but one(N.Texas) and LSU is 4-2 ATS.

I would go with 10
7 for refs and 3 for home field advantage
