The 9 game schedule prevents so many mismatches against the Mercers, Woffords, Chattanoogas, etc. No one wants to watch those games.
I don't want to watch Ohio St play Rutgers either.

Only in an LSU Fan's mind is a 9 game schedule too difficult to win a championship but a 10 game slate is illegitimate.

What are you even talking about?
The point is this:
Our 8 game schedule is more difficult than any other confefence's 9 game schedule
Our presidents voted on a 9 game schedule for 2 reasons: 1) that the playoffs would be expanding; and 2) that we could negotiate a more lucrative TV deal than we had. Neither happened.
The CFP committee has shown they don't care about SOS. They care first about wins and losses. See SMU last year. They went 11-2 and got an at-large bid. They got in over 9-3 Alabama, 9-3 USC, and 9-3 Ole Miss.
So, knowing all that, why would we create more opportunities for our teams to be eliminated from the playoffs?
This is about the system in place now and how it affects our teams compared to members of other power conferences, nothing more nothing less. This has nothing to do with me "being an LSU fan." It has to do with common sense. LSU hasn't even been affected by any of this yet so your point doesn't even make sense, but nice troll attempt I guess

The thing is the Nnaji kid opening up the door to a whole slew of 2nd round draft picks going to college instead of overseas.
That invites interest from the NBA GMs into "placing" kids onto college teams that "fit" their system or whatever.
The whole "never signed a contract" jargon is kinda irrelevant. He was never offered a contract because it was intended for him to finish his Europro contract. If the NBA owns the player he should not be in college
Based on my own research on Google and Twitter I believe this is exactly where we are headed. Draft and stash...to NCAA basketball teams.
NBA GMs believe they can better control NBA development tracks in college verses overseas. The benefits of this system would benefit the blue bloods and would help the GM's bring better value out of their 2nd round picks. So, why would any player ever pull out of the draft to maintain elgibility? And when does a pro team like the Phoenix Suns start a partnership with Bama considering Bama shoots the three already 35 times a game and uses a pro-ready launch the three and no defense NBA mindset

I definitely missed the origin to yall's deep offseason conversation about SOS and LSU sux, but please keep the attacks pointed at Bama and Sankey. Thanks.
