you know that doesnt mean they dont try. I am sure they throw mud and hope something sticks. But you would be naive to think Auburn and many other schools dont use the depth chart to recruit against Alabama.

It's no secret that people use Alabama's depth chart against them in recruiting. It's not just Auburn that does it.

He's an athletic QB. He's an incredible talent and he's from right down the road. Baseball will just be an issue with him. Expect MLB to draft him pretty highly, which means a big contract.

Isn't it against NCAA rules for a coach to talk about a recruit by name? Even to a fan.

If you're having to constantly mention other programs in your recruiting pitch, that's "negative recruiting". Alabama's depth chart isn't set in stone like some people like to suggest. Young players have every opportunity to make an impact. C.J. Mosley came in and started nine games at the deepest position on the roster. If you're ready to play, you'll play.
