I understand SWC doesn't count. So A&M has one year to go by.
Do we start our calendar as #5 BCS which I believe is #3 SEC
or #5 in SEC Thats my question. This of course puts LSU #1 in 2011.
Funny nobody knows how to handle this question.
I don't care about not taking SWC titles. I think the Big 12 title when Texas , OU and K.St, Nebraska were all good should count.

I've always thought Mack was massively overrated but I think he is a clear step above Akers. He had to actually rebuild a school that had fallen off while Akers was able to live off of Royal for a bit. Plus there were far more advantages for Texas in the 70s and 80s than there are now.

You start your calendar when you win an SEC Championship and you would then need to surpass Auburn's 7 SEC Championships which is unlikely to happen
