If Matthews and Pankake can stay hot, we are a completely different team.

Pankake absolutely crushed the ball every AB on Sunday, I think he is going to be a force the rest of the post season.

Oklahoma could end the 19 game winning streak...that is baseball and would be kinda weird.

The last post season loss for USC was against Oklahoma. 19 post season games later, USC faces them again.

I see the streak continuing to 21 imo

I liked how both Holmes (8.0 innings of 1-hit shut-out ball, 9 Ks, no BBs) and Montgomery (6.2 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs - 2 earned - 6 Ks and 1 BB) pitched their regional games. Roth battled himself in his start as much as he battled Clemson's hitters...if he can get his game on again, I imagine we'll see him and Holmes this weekend, with Monty going only if needed in a game 3.

OR, we might go Roth then Monty in the easier clinching Game #2 IF we win GM #1, then use Holmes in the GM #3 if necessary, as it'll be a tighter game to pitch with more on the line. If GM #3 isn't needed, we open Omaha with Holmes, then start the rotation over with Roth again....

Hopefully OU baseball will mirror their softball team and live up to the "Chokelahoma" nickname.

Go Cocks!
