Let me pose a hypothetical:
-Clemson is 6-5.
-Clemson is playing a MAC school
-It's a make-up game one week after the end of the regular season
-The weather outside is terrible
What's Clemson's attendance? Seriously, your post-2013 fans would've jumped ship and headed down to Atlanta to root for UGA.

Looking at the matchups, the SEC could do very well this year in the games. Kentucky against PSU is the least favorable matchup

UVA fans are looking forward to the match up. Pair of schools who are relatively close regionally and haven’t played in a long time. Not to mention, it should be highly attended on both sides which is a plus. There were rumors of us getting shipped to Detroit or Sante Fe. This is much better
ETA: I worry about this game based on your performance vs Clemson. Looked very good in the first half but then again it’s a rivalry game. Gamecocks were several close games away from having a much better season if I remember right (same with UVA too)

Fact is we have had a loyal fan base prior to our recent success. Unlike SC, where post-spurlid, their fans have deteriorated.

This is the same loyal fanbase that boycotted games during Ken Hatfield's last season in order to force him out, a coach who went 32-13-1 in 4 seasons. And many of Clemson's current fans couldn't find the town on a map, they just cheer for Clemson bc they're the college football equivalent of TBN viewers, giving their hard earned money to college football's version of Jimmy Swaggart.

speaking of FSU ...their rescheduled Dec 2 game last year vs Monroe drew about as many fans as W-B had yesterday - and it was sunny & 75 in Tallahassee last season, not 50 and rain, rain, rain in Columbia. rescheduled games never draw normal attendance - anywhere. even in your land of purple fairies and orange unicorns.

Clemson student section on the Hill at Death Valley was less than half full as the fourth quarter started with the score tied on Sept. 23, 2017, against Boston College.
“We need our students to be there the whole game. And we need our fans to be there in the third quarter,” Swinney said on his weekly teleconference ahead of last weekend’s Wake Forest game. “We need to show up, and not be a place that shows up (just) for GameDay or night games."

I've only seen UVA once this year and that was against Louisville. A QB with a broken finger scored like a million points.
