But yes, Spurrier owns UGA. He only lost to UGA once while at UF.
Not to mention Spurrier may only be 4-4 vs UGA here but considering how far behind UGA when he started here 4-4 isn't bad at all. Especially since SC has its first every 3-game winning streak vs UGA.

True, but beating Goff and the crook isn't really relevant to this upcoming season.

What's his record vs Richt?
5-4... they met in Richt's first year at UGA, 2001.
Richt's arrival in athens couldn't have been timed any better, with the exit of Spurrier... had SS continued on in Gainesville, the SEC Championships Richt won may not have happened.

11-1 (7-1)
Loss to Tennessee.
I wouldn't worry a/b Clemson, they're a known commodity and unless they DRASTICALLY improve on D they're going to get handled in Columbia.

That can't be right, I was at that game. It was a complete blowout, when did they score 7 points?

Aside from last year, this game is ridiculously close year after year. Basically every game is a tossup. Anyone trying to predict this game is wasting their time because it is 50-50.

Fixed your schedule: we play @ Arkansas, and host Clemson in Williams-Brice...
I'm pretty excited about the season. The season-opener will be exciting and have some rivalry feel to it even though we don't play each other much these days. The UGA game will be more of a toss-up being at Sanford Stadium, but I'm feeling good about it at this point. Hosting Vanderbilt will be key for us and they're replacing some key players for them. We didn't play well in Nashville this past season and I expect our team will want to show a better representation of themselves...
UCF could be a trap game but we have a bye week to fully focus on them, and I think overall our depth should be overwhelming. UK, Arky, and UT all will have new coaching staffs so it's hard right now to figure what type of teams they will have. UK is in Columbia and I'm comfortable with our chances. Both AR and UT are also dealing with new QBs and WR depth, new philosophies so this will be a good year to catch them, but playing them in their stadiums will make the games tough I'm sure. Adding Mizzou as the 3rd straight away game in the SEC will also make it pretty tough...
The first home game back from the long away stretch versus MSU concerns me as a true trap game. Not so much because we'll be looking past them but because we may be a bit wore down from the schedule at that point. Hopefully the home crowd will give us a boost of energy...
The final 4 games will all be home games, and the last 3 starts with a bye week after the MSU game to give us a chance to catch our breath. UF is as much a toss-up game as UGA will be, but I like that we have them in Columbia. After a stat-padder in Coastal we once again welcome Clemson into the hostile confines of Williams-Brice Stadium. Both teams could be undefeated for that game.....

We're fortunate in that we couldn't be in a better place of Arky's schedule.
