I'm a Baptist knucklehead. But I don't drink either.
If you want to put that poison in your body go ahead. I'll pass.
Denigrate my football team all you want. A man's faith should be off limits.

Lonnie went Biblical early this morning. Real early for a man in Utah.

Just the way Dabo would do it, right?
I'm up at 3:30-4:00 am every day. I haven't used an alarm clock in years. Been up for hours now.
And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed Mark 1:35

Unfortunate that your program isn't as dedicated to doing the right thing as you obviously are. You should be praying for those sinners in Cola.

Not that it's any of your business, but I pray for all sinners everywhere. You and myself include.

Did anything ever come out of Clemson’s players testing positive for PEDs?

The players got suspended.

You seem like a good man Lonnie. Citadel grad, probably hard working good Christian man. Wrong team but it’s ok.

Given the nature of the web, and our previous exchanges on here, I'm not sure if any or all of this is sarcasm, but thank you for the kind words.

Everyone knows you want it to happen, but it won't unless players get caught - which hasn't happened.

The players that failed the test didn't play in the Playoff. The 2 still on the team can't play until after the Conference Championship Games this year.

Not going to question a person’s character on a message board that I wouldn’t know if he walked in my office. That’s kind of childish.
I do think you probably need to let the PED thing go. Kids got busted and are being punished per NCAA rules.

From a realist perspective it's gone. If nothing more has happened by now, nothing's gonna happen. FWIW, my digs are more directed at the NCAA for not digging into it further. It's my opinion they should have dug a little deeper, but then again, I'm not the most objective person to talk to with regards to this topic (With a cycling background, I detest PED's because of what it did to that sport)
But as noted above, some of that kind of gets lost in this format....
Oh, and have an UV...

It took just two plays into the game, but Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Christi n Wilkins hit the showers early.
In Sunday’s contest against the Buffalo Bills, W lkins was ejected shortly after the second play from scrimmage, an incomplete pass, for throwing a punch against Bills offensive tackle Cody Ford.

I totally understand you’re feelings towards PED use. I played small college football in the mid 80’s when everyone was juicing. So I get your view on them. I really don’t think the NCAA cares that much about it. I think it’s lip service they give. If you look at all three levels of NCAA athletics how many athletes there are and how few are tested I don’t think the NCAA is serious. I realize there is a cost to test and it’s expensive but the money is there.
I am not defending those guys because they were in the wrong but the story I got, keep In mind I was a teacher and coach in the upstate for 28 years before going into administration so I know a lot of people, kids were working out some with a guy of questionable ethics off campus at a gym not even in Clemson. So I really don’t think there was any university involvement here.
Got to remember they are 18-22 year olds and they are going to make bad choices at times

I don't want this to seem like a dig at your your school, because it's not. But as long as the schools are allowed to be in charge of the in season PED testing, the point above stands 100%.
There needs to be an outside organization over that process.

And like Saban said, EVERY team in post season should be tested, not just the 4 Playoff teams. As for digging deeper, they couldn't. Not enpugh players flunked the test to kick in more testing per the rules,of the players that tested positive, neither of them had enough of the substance in their system,to kick in more testing per the rules.Any make believe claims by those like you are just that, unsubstantiated claims.
Back to the original topic, what none of you are talking about, with the SHOW cause against Thompson, this is just not over a few texts.

That kid didn’t buy that car there. Look at the dealer website. Not a car over 40 grand. Guy does have some pretty nice used cars though.
