I don't think so. Given a talent advantage, and Nutt has one this year over USCe, i just don't see Ole Miss losing.
i concur that Nutt has an implosion tendency that rears its ugly head at times-in fact, I think he'll likely do it this year-I just don't think it will be this game.

I see finger nails all over the Ole Piss side line, with Nutt walking out with his head hung down. SCe by 3. Ol Ball Coach pulls one out!

I hate to say it, but the Rebs gonna kick the crap out of SC.

South Carolina has a good run defense and so far Snead hasn't proven that he can beat them through the air. On the other hand, I don't know if South Carolina can beat Ole Miss's defense.
The game is at South Carolina... I'm going to take South Carolina.

Smelly "stunk up" the place at SC; left SC to play baseball at Bama. Played HS ball in Tuscaloosa; his brother plays TE on the football team.
I wasn't mistaking Garcia for Smelley. My point - obtuse as it was -- is that our crappy QB transfered, while our talented QB stayed. And you cannot assume Garcia this year is as bad as he was last year -- because he is vastly improved. Fail on my part for a badly expressed post.

Does Nutt really have a talent advantage?
USC has had consistently higher ranked recruiting classes. The problem for Spurrier has been player development and a lack of playmakers on offense. with an improved offensive line and the emergence of several playmakers (Garcia, Giles, Gurley, Saunders), the talent is there for USC to win.
Carolina by 10.

C'mon now, everyone on this board should know that having more pure talent doesnt = a win.

Depends on which Garcia shows up.
Which depends on our D line. If we can get and keep pressure on him the Garcia from the NC State game shows up and we can win it provided Snead plays well. I am so nervous about this one

I think Carolina wins in a close one.

SpringBok, looking at Rivals I show that for at least the last five years OM's recruiting class > USC's.

Everyone is overlooking the strength of Ole Miss, the defense. If we come away with the win tonight, it's on their back and we will.
Rebels by 13, but USC is going to give us a fight all the way through.

most these predictions don't hold any water besides LSU and Arkansas want to see us fail..
did i really see someone say we were mostly lucky last year?? when??? what game?
and don't give me the Florida game shite, we caused turnovers (strippng the ball) and took advantage of their frick ups... like any football team would do
