No it's not. But clearly you not only underrate our football team but you also underrate us as fans when it comes to our expectations.
8 wins is not a good season, it's an average season. 9 or 10 wins is a good season. 11 wins is the expectation. Anything above 11 wins will be a great season and, if that were to happen, our expectations for the next year will be raised.
See how that works with us?

Dude you know South Carolina can not produce 10 or more wins they aren’t set up to do that. The greatest run ever by Spurrier. Ever. As in the greatest production y’all have had was something like 4 straight 10 win seasons and beating Clemson 4 or 5 straight times. You can’t expect that hell LSU’s expectations was no less than 10 wins every year or behead the coach. There is a clear reason for that though. The talent and monopoly on that talent. South Carolina is a solid state for crooting per capita but let’s be real it’s not top 6 in the nation for talent. Then you factor in Clemson is doing its best ever in program history taking in one of best classes in Nation. Ain’t no way y’all should be thinking 10 wins but once every 5 years with Muschamp. Like I said 8 or 9 wins ain’t bad.

11 wins is the expectation. Cum on man. Give me what you are smoking lol

My expectation is to lose two games, probably UGA and Clemson (yet we could win either or both) and win our bowl game. That would make us 11-2 ... and we just did that three years in a row recently.
Are those unreasonable expectations? If so, please explain to me why I should lower my expectations. Thanks in advance.
BTW, all those freshmen mUSChamp won six games with in his first year ... they were all sophomores last year when we won nine games including the come from behind bowl win over Michigan in fhe Outback Bowl.
This year they will be juniors and, when you add Boom's last two recruiting classes to them, both Top 25 classes, we definitely expect improvement over last year (9 wins) when, in truth, we probably actually should have, could habe, won 11 games last year.
So, anyways, please take a moment to explain why 11 wins would be unrealistic for me to expect this season.

Hell my expectations for LSU was 10 wins or more in their prime pre 2013.
How in the hell can South Carolina fans have the same expectations as LSU when they have fractions on us in NFL talent production. In State talent production. National Titles. Conference titles. We saw on the field who wins when Scar plays LSU. We play a tougher slate of games but it doesn’t make up the difference. Expectations can’t be that high in South Carolina. Muschamp just washed out in Texas and Florida. He didn’t produce either time he was given a better program than South Carolina.
Like I said y’all are 9 is great season and 8 is good and 7 is about average right now under the current climate that the league is in. The East is bad but look at the West it’s not very good either when you look at how bad Arkansas, Ole Miss, A&M, and LSU have been the last few seasons.

That’s what I am saying bruh. 11 wins is once in every 6 years type of a season or more.

Those 11-2 seasons you are talking about is in the distant past that was Spurrier man. I am talking current coaches. I know about the Spurrier teams y’all got in a good match with us in 2012 and beat Clemson a lot. That was very good but that would be like me talking about LSU pre special Ed and saying yeah we winning 11 games every year. Ed is winning 9 games maybe 10 games at best. It used to be higher but it ain’t anymore we pencil dicked our hire.

I will tell you exactly what this is like. This is like starting a thread saying A&M is a dark horse in the West this year. Ok. Granted y’all are 0-4 against them so let’s just say the divisions even this comparison out some. If Aggie fan had stated that shite and said yeah bro we expect to win 11 games and finish second in the West then what would your response be? Exactly.

I have to step in here.
Ed isn't winning 8 games.
Look at your schedule. Look at your roster.
Re-read your prediction.

I don't think SC is underrated at all. They have the best chance of taking the East from Georgia.
If anything I think Kentucky is underrated this year.

What the hell do you know about our team. Well he literally did nothing but cook gumbo last year and won 9 games and lost to Troy and Notre Dame in the last minute of the game. Why in the hell would I not think we would win 9 games. We haven’t had 8 wins but one time in 2008. LSU is set up where 8 wins is a complete disaster. You win 9 or less at LSU you don’t deserve to coach anywhere in college football.

I mean look I know you don’t know what the hell you are talking about but for shits and giggles our defense will be loaded this year. The schedule is the toughest in the nation arguably as long as Miami wins their division and Georgia stays the same and Florida and A&M both do 9 wins or better.

And dude look at us getting a QB transfer for two years. I get you are low balling this year bc the schedule but LSU has a QB that can play immediately and will have a good shot at Gunnell or someone else out of high school next year.

They were last year. The media sucks.

I think Kentucky is underrated this year.
What kind of wood will USC use for it's national championship display?

Thank you for your interest in our program.

It’s so funny it’s untrue. Y’all went 6-7 squeaked by Vandy and have lost back to back to Kentucky then lost to South Florida in that bowl game. Cum into the season last year and have to miraculously beat Michigan from behind to barely win 9 games. Yall get in a tickle fight with Louisiana Tech, which I watched that game y’all had absolutely no business winning that game. And y’all do all that and tell me that I am the crazy one for thinking 10 plus wins isn’t doable at South Carolina and that LSU surely won’t win 8 games when we haven’t dumped less than 9 wins but once the last 14 seasons.
